In the early 60s, he and his first wife Cynthia and son Julian had 10 cats. The first was a Tabby cat named Mimi after John’s aunt. With May Pang, he had two cats, black and white, Major and Minor. Then with Yoko and Sean came at least 6 cats, Salt and Pepper and Misha, Shasha, Charo and Alice.
